CHIROPRACTIC
Chiropractic
Our spinal adjustments are specifically tailored to each patient using the most advanced and traditional techniques. Adjustment technique used depends on the patient's health, age, and response to care. Our doctors may use a combination of adjustment techniques such as, spinal decompression, flexion with decompression, manual adjustments, activator, Thomson "drop" techniques to restore movement into each spinal level.
Chiropractic Benefits
- Reduced spinal tension
- Improved joint motion
- Decreased nerve irritation
- Better posture alignment
- Enhanced mobility and flexibility
- Less muscle tightness
- Pain and symptom relief
- Improved nervous system function
How it Works
Chiropractic adjustments work by gently guiding spinal joints back into healthier motion and alignment. During treatment, the chiropractor assesses how each spinal segment is moving and uses a combination of techniques to improve joint mobility, reduce muscle tension and decrease irritation to surrounding nerves.
Depending on the patient’s needs, adjustments may involve manual pressure, instrument-assisted techniques, decompression, flexion-distraction or drop-table methods. These approaches allow the chiropractor to restore motion without forcing the spine and without excessive twisting or discomfort.
As the joints move more freely and the surrounding tissues relax, communication between the spine and nervous system improves. Over time, this helps reduce pain, improve mobility and support better posture and overall function.
